Prepare Well and Work Hard: Success Story of Subrata Badhai (Bank PO in Punjab National Bank)

Dear readers, please find below the success story of one of our ardent reader Subrata Badhai as shared by him over email.

Hi all,
I am Subrata, a 2012 passout Btech graduate from odisha. As an IT student my aim was to get a campus placement in my college in a good company. However, that was shattered partially due to recession and
also due to my own negligence towards getting it. sat in 3 campus (INFOSYS, CSC and HEXAWARE) bt failed in technical interview.

Then after completing Btech, went to Hyderabad for doing some technical courses and from there went to Bangalore as any IT graduate would do for getting a job. But even after searching for 6 months, i was unable to pass that interview hurdle. In Between all that, I gave IBPS Specialist officer 2 exam without any preparation and to my astonishment, i cleared all sections only to fail in the over all cut off by 3 marks(score-130). I thought if i try for banking sector, i have a good chance of clearing it.

So, I went to Delhi after that and started preparing for banking exams from august 2013 in a very good institute in delhi.. (BANKPOWER, its name is CAREER POWER now).. The teachers were good but at the same time we have to know our strong and weak sections so that we can prepare accordingly. In my case, my aptitude was weak but i was sure of making up for it as my reasoning, computer and English sections was good. Also one could easily prepare Banking section in class itself. So even though i gave all exams like NICL AO, IB ACIO but my main focus was in IBPS PO only. Also once our classes started reaching towards its end, i started giving online practice exams. Trust me when i say this, this is really helpful. And also i started preparing GA sections from various websites but the most important one was obviously BANKERSADDA team who were providing monthly as well as pdf files for individual exams. Those are more than enough to secure good marks.

I am happy and finally relieved to say this, that i have cleared both IBPS PO (marks-80) in PNB and IBPS clerk (marks 120) also in PNB. I want to thank the BANKERSADDA team for providing those timely updates on all the sections specially GA and my teachers of my institute who cleared most of my flaws and help me secure such marks. I have just one advice for all those who will prepare for such exams in future
that prepare well and hard individually and leave all other worries, you will definitely get through . Thank you
